Aloha, I'm a new first-time scooter owner (Vespa LX-150) and someone mentioned your club to me while stopped at a traffic light! I'd like to begin getting involved and learn more about my new wheels. I always took car of my own cars, but know nothing about scooters and I need to get tires and a full tune up. I don't think I should attempt to do my own servicing until I learn more firsthand - any recommendations on reputable shops to develop a realationship with for service and tires? I see a rally is upcoming in Honolulu - I'll keep checking back for dates. Do you have a "time and talent" needs area that I can see how I might be able to lend assistance? Hey, I'm selling my 1974 Primavera. It's in good shape. Doesn't run, but I really think it's just that the gas has gone bad. Yes, it's been that long since I have ridden it. It will also come with a new battery (needs acid and installed), a set of new tires, and a few small items that you may or may not want. I'm asking for 1700 or best offer.
